Independent Consultant – Southeast Field Sales Representative

Datasym POS Inc. is currently seeking high-energy professionals with outstanding interpersonal skills to sell top of the line Datasym Point-of- Sale Equipment, Services and Solutions to an existing dealer network, new dealers and major account customers within a geographical territory.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:

  • Minimum four years related sales experience

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Strong selling and closing skills

  • Solid computer skills

  • Good driving record and reliable transportation required

  • The ideal candidate will be based in a major metropolitan area and be required to travel throughout the territory on a weekly basis. Travel is 65% of the job.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation and persuasion skills

  • Team oriented and desire to collaborate within one’s team

  • Ability to form strong working relationships with diverse groups of people

  • Strong problem solving skills

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Cold calling

  • Following up on leads

  • Qualifying dealer and major account prospects

  • Pipeline management

  • Generating revenue and acquiring customers

  • Customer evaluation and procurement

  • Account and Sales process management

  • ROI analysis

  • Accurate forecasting

  • Leading successful sales campaign

  • Consistent revenue growth

  • Be responsible and accountable for meeting deadlines

  • Give detailed feedback to Datasym Management team through weekly reports

  • Learn existing products and keep current with newly released products

  • To achieve agreed levels of cold calling activity to increase yield, volume and revenue streams

  • To identify sales opportunities and effectively present key features and benefits of product to secure new business

  • To ensure that you have a knowledge of Datasym and competitor products

  • To constantly seek out new revenue generating opportunities to ensure that targets are met

  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team


You’ll be training at Datasym corporate head office and in the field. We offer a training course that covers product training and administration. After induction, you’ll spend time in training, learning the products. A Datasym Staff Member will attend the customer location with you to introduce you until gradually you will take over the sales calls. You will then be expected to get up to speed quickly and meet individual targets.

Annual Income:

Starting consultant fee is base plus commissions.
